Welcome Fantasy football fans, Rex Callahan here from FantasyWeek.us with your rapid-fire waiver wire rundown.
Week four tore through starting lineups like a buzzsaw, leaving massive vacancies at running back and receiver across the league. If you have open roster spots, tonight is the night to spend aggressively. Here is where your claims need to go.
Claim Will Shipley as your number one priority tonight. Saquon Barkley is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, and Tank Bigsby needs surgery for a core muscle injury. That leaves Shipley as the lone healthy running back on Philadelphia's active roster. Empty the FAAB wallet.
Claim Emanuel Wilson. With Jadarian Price on IR and Zach Charbonnet out through week five, Wilson had eighty-one yards and two touchdowns on twenty-one carries. Expect him to shoulder the workload against the Forty-Niners.
Claim Keon Coleman in all formats. DJ Moore reportedly aggravated an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, leaving Coleman to post over one hundred yards and a touchdown. He steps into the primary perimeter role for Josh Allen this week.
Add Mike Gesicki as your top tight end streamer. Both Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins suffered injuries on Sunday, forcing Gesicki out wide where he caught a touchdown. Joe Burrow needs targets, and Gesicki will function as a de facto receiver.
Add D'Andre Swift if an impatient manager cut him loose. Kyle Monangai handled thirty carries on Sunday but came away with a thumb injury. That clears the path for Swift to immediately take back the lion's share of Chicago's backfield touches.
Claim Tyler Huntley in Superflex and deeper leagues. Lamar Jackson left the stadium in a walking boot with what is reportedly believed to be a high ankle sprain and is highly questionable. Huntley steps into a run-heavy Baltimore offense with proven rushing upside.
